Read 180 is comprised of three groups throughout a class period. Students visit an independent reading area where they read or listen to books that are at their level and that they choose. Students also visit a small group, where they practice reading, writing, and reading and writing strategies with others and with the teacher. In addition, students work through a computer program that allows them to read and record, watch interesting videos, spell, sort, and work with vocabulary.
