Kimberly Doran
A native of Minneapolis, MN Ms. Doran worked as a Child Life Specialist at Shriner's Hospital and with emergency intake and placements with the St. Joseph's Home for Children before coming to Humboldt as one of our Social Workers in 1998. She completed her B.A. in psychology at St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN and her M.S.W. (Master's in Social Work) at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN.
She loves reading, gardening, cooking and traveling. As she has family members who live abroad she has had some wonderful opportunities to travel to Thailand, Egypt and Europe as well as many places in the USA.
"I chose social work because it gives me an opportunity to provide mental health support and therapy to children and families who may not otherwise have the opportunity to receive assistance."
