Lisa Dembouski Hello everyone, Please allow me to introduce myself!  I am a teacher.  My specialty is deaf and hard of hearing students; I also teach sign language as an elective class at Humboldt this year.  I have worked for St. Paul Public Schools since 1999. I am a student.  I am a doctoral candidate at the University of Minnesota where I am studying Culture and Teaching.  I plan to research and write my dissertation during the 2009-2010 school year (so please be nice to me, I'm probably a little stressed out!). I am a UDL technology initiative participant.  I hope to use this initiative to increase the amount of technology I use in my instruction and, more importantly, to increase my students' technological literacy skills.
