Members and friends of the Hawks Football team were invited to spend an afternoon at the historic Jerabek's bakery on the west side. It was a day of team building and fun as dough and flour were being tossed in the air and occasionally landing on someone  | | butter braid loaf |
else. The players learned that many of the bakers arrive@ 4:00am to get the process started while they are usually fast asleep. Each was able to make a Butter Braid bread loaf some could braid very well while others like coach minus struggled. As the bread  | | Chase show his school spirit |
dough set the group rolled and cut cookie dough. The cookie were in the shape of footballs and placed on sheet pans ready for baking. The smell filled the bakery as the rumbling filled the tummies of our new bakers. Anticipation heightend to taste the work  | | thanks fof helping Alex |
of their own hands. Each took their own braid and a few cookies home to share and enjoy. It was a great day for the Hawks in the community. The Hawks were invited back to help create and make SuperBowl Cookies at the end January.
