My focus this year will be on Language Arts for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students and on Science.
Language Arts for DHH students:
During 1st quarter, this class will be focusing on (1) reading comprehension strategies, and (2) similarities/differences between English Language and American sign Language.
Science:
I am very fortunate this year to have the opportunity to co-teach with three dedicated science teachers:
Ms. Nancy Orr (We will be co-teaching Life Science 7th grade)
Mr. Douglas Humes (we will be co-teaching Earth Science 8th grade)
