October 2008 PTO Minutes
Minutes from October 6, 2008:

Enrollment at Humboldt is down 89 students which resulted in 1.5 faculty
being released and students reassigned to alternate classes.

Large scale changes may be in store for Humboldt Jr. High with the
district possibly restructuring schools.  All concerned parents and
community members are encouraged to attend an open meeting on Wednesday,
October 15, 2008 from 5:30 - 7 pm.

Mr. Kranz is the Senior class advisor
Ms. Cantu is the Junior class advisor

Fundraising Discussion:
*         Famous Amos Cookies - Cecelia Monn purchased this item and was
given permission to sell them in the concession stand and were sold
during Homecoming football game.

*         Target- Portion of using Target charge to Humboldt

*         Sell pizza slices in the concession booth?

*         Fundraising at the Metrodome - currently on hold

*         Wrist bands

Senior All night party notes:
*         Cecelia Monn has picked up the Herbergers Community Sale
coupons and has dates to sell them at the store.  Other dates/times are
available if anyone is interested with selling the coupons.

*         Digital frames have been purchased

*         Discussion and approval to purchase luggage pieces
