Football isn’t the only one with a big win this fall. Girls Swimming win it’s first conference meet in 7 years drowning Johnson 75-45 and have been very competitive within the conference almost edging out a very tough Highland Park. The Girls swim in the conference meet this Saturday @ 4:30pm.

Girls Soccer has a new coach Paul Richardson and brand new future. Coach Richarson has brought back stability and great coaching style to improve the girl’s soccer team record and number of participants.

Boys Soccer finished 3rd in the conference and lost again in the quarter finals of regions against Mahtomedi in an over-time shoot out.

Coach Gary Ales switches from coaching Cross Country to bring back Girls Tennis. Gary’s popularity drew out a full girls JV tennis squad and surprised the City Conference with 4 JV wins. We will have a full varsity team next year for the 1st time in 4 years. Great job coach Ales and assistant coach Andy Schroepfer.

Catherine Fredrick and Jenny Marietta, great role models and accomplished runners themselves take over the coaching for Cross Country. There is a new excitement about running and we look forward to hearing about the Humboldt success in the Cross Country meets in the coming seasons.

Adapted PI Soccer finished fourth in the conference and will start the play-offs on Thursday 10/30 against White Bear Lake at home at 4:30pm. Good Luck PI Soccer in the play-offs we are looking to reclaim our spot in dominating the State Tourney.

Adapted CI Soccer finished 6th in the conference and will have to play away in the first play-off game on Tuesday 10/28/08 against Moundsview/Irondale/Roseville @ Highview MS @ 4:30pm. Good Luck Hawks.
