Humboldt's Environmental Mural
wall_002
13 students took this past school year to create a mural on a wall that boarders the school on Elizabeth street between Gorman and Humboldt Aves. The wall captures the Environmental Curriculum that students will be engaged in. Each quarter has a different theme. Those themes are: The River, Energy & Transportation, Agriculture and Gardening, and Biomes and Ecosystems. Also pictured are logos or icons from our community such as the high bridge, the Paddleford, the District del Sol logo, and all of the programs offered to Humboldt students. The wall ends with the handprints of people that have put work into the project. Thank you to all that helped!
